About the event...

Twisted bicycle frames and wonky wheels will become dragons and aliens under the guidance of the Handmade Parade, working with young and old - from seasoned bike enthusiast to the stabiliser crew, to magic the town’s wheels into a remarkable parade. Push your ride along to a free workshop for some upcycling know-how and get involved.

Accompanied by some of Handmade Parade’s signature giant puppets built onto upcycled bicycle parts, guest bike art, and some of the area’s finest street bands, the Fantastical Cycle Parade, taking place on Saturday 26th April, promises to be a spoke-tacular family event and a memorable highlight of the Tour de Tod programme.

Workshops take place between 12-25th April at Todmorden High School. There is no need for people to book a place - just turn up on the day!
